Guildwars was meant to be played with others,want it or not, (of course you can solo), but if you whine because the hench sucks, then go find a pug that's surely why Anet implemented them= TO SUCK. Also Zhar, stop "quoting" the box, because the fact is, you CAN solo, but not with 7 heroes, any moron would have understood that. If you want to "solo" , go play diablo, dungeon siege, whatever game where you can switch between online and offline mode, or download a free mmo.

Competence is relative. Henchmen are competent is sense that they have skill bars that make sense and direction and are much better than average player. Better henchmen are cool. We have seen henchmen with decent bars in EoTN. They miss secondaries, but that is just matter of evolution.

However, troubles start when you move from single person bars to teambuilds. Henchmen can't really have teambuild beyond "randomway". Anytime you would catter to specific teambuild, they would loose value for others. So you have to go with unimpressive general, "12/12" bars.

And if you looked at the other boxed part of Raenef's text, it also says "online".

I also put Diablo in there aswell, and used other games as an example. It also says "Best MMO of the year 2005", so these people obviously think it's an MMO so I used other MMO's (Runescape, World of Warcraft) as an example.

"MMO" or "Online" doesn't mean "Play with all the time".

I'm not whining, I'm supporting the ability to use 7 heroes. I'm not bothered if we get to or not.
